IAAPA Expo

Arriving into Orlando Sunday night, we would all prepare to head to the IAAPA expo the next morning. The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo is held yearly in Orlando Florida, usually in November. It lasts about a week, and sees thousands of venders and atendees. There is so much to do at the IAAPA expo, and I personally went for 3 days this year.

IAAPA Expo Day One

My first day at the IAAPA expo would begin by nearly missing my first Education Session. Audrey was driving Peyton, Andy, and I to the expo, and took us to the West Concourse, instead of the South Concourse. This left us with 6 minutes to get our badges for the week, and quickly make our first sessions at 8:30. It was about telling a story through an attraction. The main takeaway I had from the session was, " A story is not a script, it is a spine." which is something I will hold onto.
